Todays mini chores..........

So still smiling from my wonderful surprise from Mercedes and a big roombox order done and on its way......I had some time today to work on some miniature chores. I have been wanting to polish the old copper pots I got weeks ago and boy they look almost new again. I also wanted to play with the wonderful vintage bed that had the worst bedding ever displayed on it. I stripped all the old stuff off and I'm playing with its new look. I forgot to take a before pic but take my word for it ...it was bad!!!!
I'm pretty happy so far. I worked on some baked goodies too but I will save those for another day. The flu has found its way to my house but not to me yet (crossed fingers it won't) Kids are miserable and Mom is playing with minis. Hope you are all feeling healthy and strong. Mini hugs!

The bed looks very pretty now and so does the copper! Strange how those mini chores sometimes take just as long as the real ones! But the results are great!

I love the bed. It looks great. I've had problems with bedding before too. There are some beautiful beds at the local hobby store, but the bedding it comes with is so unrealistic! I've still yet to figure out what to do with my mini master bed. That's yet another project to do!

The other day, I hears on the news that there's this spanish family with seven children cough the flu, all the seven children at the same time plus the father, all of them, but the mother. She took care of everyone for almost two weeks and somehow she didnt catch it!!Isnt it amazing, that's a mother, a real good mother!!
Love the bed!

those copper pans were well worth the effort Kim..they look fantastic. I bet you wouldn't bother spending the time cleaning "real" size ones..I know I wouldn't, but minis, now THAT's different! I hope you manage to avoid the flu! Mini hugs, Linda

Loving the new look on the bed-- the bed for my little house came with hideous bedding too. I couldn't wait to rip it off and start new... still need to add more though!
Hugs,
Jill

Kim, that bed is gorgeous! You did a fantastic job of putting it together . . . it looks so cozy!

Oh my! I love miniature copper! I bought a copper teapot a few years back at the Chicago Tom Bishop show and hope to buy a few more pieces next year. Aren't they just wonderful?!!

Thanks so much for sharing and I'll keep my fingers crossed you don't get that nasty flu . . . cross for me too . . . Brian came home from work this morning sick, and he's not doing any better tonight. I feel for him, but he's throwing off my schedule! LOL!!

Take care!

Hugs,
Teresa
